Sharing our Cultures Inc. is proud to present contactcultures.ca a new virtual learning resource for exploring diverse cultures around the world...in French!

In 2021-2022, the project « À la découverte de nos diverses cultures francophones : Programme d’apprentissage virtuel en français » was developed; it consists of a series of virtual and interactive curriculum-based learning sessions for French (first and second language) students and teachers in Newfoundland and Labrador.

contactcultures.ca has self-directed learning sessions, with presentations that have been created by culturally diverse local and newcomer students in grades 7-12, to share various aspects of their culture. The presentations and activities are intended for students from Kindergarten to Grade 12.

This project was developed so that students can share and discover new cultures, learn more about each other, and create a sense of belonging and mutual respect among all.
